During the occupiers' strike on Odessa, one of the missiles hit a ship under the flag of Palau, which was moored in the port, killing a Ukrainian citizen and injuring five foreign crew members.
The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleh Kiper, said that the person killed in the latest attack was a port worker, and the five injured were foreign citizens and members of the ship's crew.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba added that the ship is called Optima and said that it arrived in Odessa several hours before the attack, Reuters writes.
He stressed that the Russian Federation "is trying to destroy shipping in the Black Sea in this way, guaranteeing food security. The consequences can only mean greater instability in sensitive regions dependent on food imports and tension in international relations."
