Russian occupation forces have captured three settlements in the area of the city of Mirnograd in Donetsk region - Nikolaevka, Krasny Yar and Krutoy Yar. Therefore, in the near future we can expect an increase in the enemy's offensive actions in the direction of Mirnograd, DeepState reports.
"Recently, at first glance, one could observe a certain decline in activity in the area of the Grodovka-Novogrodovka section, but the Katsaps constantly tried to break through the positions of the Ukrainian military with varying intensity. In some places they really have stubbornly resisted and have no success, but there are areas that the Muscovites have nevertheless probed for weakness. Very often, success is manifested in the use of bypass tactics where the enemy meets resistance," the analysts write.
It is noted that Nikolaevka is essentially the last settlement before Mirnograd. The authors predict that soon this city will feel the pressure and efforts of the occupiers to break through to its southern outskirts.
"Today, we can trace a certain trend that the Katsaps have run into positions in the form of military outposts and other engineering and fortification structures. But some of them are not prepared well enough, some are located absolutely senselessly, so the main success of the containment lies simply on the shoulders of our brave fighters," DeepState added.
What forces and resources the enemy will use for further advancement in the Donetsk region, time will tell. However, according to the authors' forecasts, we should also expect the activation of enemy artillery, aviation, mortars and other weapons.
"It is possible that additional forces will be pulled into this area in order to gather them for the development of the success already achieved," DeepState summarized.
