The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to conduct a liberation operation in the area of the Kinburn Spit. This opinion was expressed in a commentary to 24 Kanal by pilot-instructor, reserve colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, military expert Roman Svitan.
According to him, one of the aid packages to Ukraine from the West contains combat boats, so the Ukrainian Armed Forces will probably soon take up "liberation work in the South."
Svitan noted that the enemy will not be able to advance on the territories controlled by Ukraine from the Kinburn Spit. Thus, the right bank of the Dnieper is very high and "it will simply not be possible to enter and carry out a combat mission." At the same time, the Russians began to conduct threatening maneuvers on the Kinburn Spit - most likely, they are trying to "protect themselves from our movement".
"We have recently received up to 200 boats. In particular, the Americans gave them to us. Boats are not for fishing. The Russians understand this perfectly well and are trying to strengthen their positions for the purpose of defense, not offensive actions. We are ready for offensive actions. The question is when, in what sequence, with what forces, but this is already classified information," the military emphasized.
In turn, the speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South" Sergey Bratchuk reported that the intensity of enemy assault attacks has increased in the Dnieper direction. At the same time, there is information that the Kinburn Spit has "gone dark" because the enemy is there, despite the losses it suffers after strikes or raids, in particular by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, or artillery strikes:
"They are trying to control the location where the Dnieper flows into the Black Sea. Is this preparation for offensive actions? I think that the situation will become clear in the near future, but the enemy has really become more active today."
