The Russian occupiers have turned Toretsk in the Donetsk region into ruins. As of October 14, there is not a single intact house left there, nor is there any shelter for civilians or soldiers.
This was reported by the speaker of the Lugansk OTG Anastasia Bobovnikova on the air of the telethon. According to her, due to the fact that the city is almost completely destroyed, the Russians have the opportunity to advance and occupy new areas.
"Unfortunately, the enemy continues to storm our positions, and there are no intact houses left in Toretsk. Now the city is more reminiscent of a deserted planet: there are no shelters for either civilians or soldiers there, and, unfortunately, this allows the enemy to occupy new areas, but already scorched earth," Bobovnikova said.
She noted that the occupiers are changing into civilian clothes in an attempt to reach the positions of the Ukrainian troops. And the enemy is using such tactics, in particular, in the area of Chasovy Yar in the Donetsk region.
The press secretary of the OTG "Lugansk" noted that the Russians are suffering huge losses in Toretsk, but Moscow is promising the invaders "mountains of gold".
