Russian occupiers continue to strike civilian ships and other infrastructure in the grain corridor. Yesterday, October 14, was the fourth Russian attack on civilian ships moored in Ukrainian ports since October 5.
According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, Russian mibloggers have directly called for further strikes that will further worsen Ukraine's economic potential. According to experts, these attacks are part of a larger campaign in which the Kremlin wants to achieve a number of goals.
"ISW recently assessed that Russian strikes on civilian ships and other infrastructure in the grain corridor are almost certainly aimed at undermining Western confidence in Ukraine's ability to secure and defend the corridor, influencing ongoing Western discussions about long-term support for Ukraine, and preventing Ukraine from surviving economically during the war," the report says.
