Some people believe that sitting and donating 200 hryvnia a month to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is enough, and let others do the "dirty" work, but this is wrong. This was stated to Suspilnoye by Oleksiy Davydov under the pseudonym Palych, who participated in the Kharkiv operation, carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region, and now, due to health reasons, continues to serve in one of the Nikolaev TCCs.

He notes that people have had more than two and a half years of a full-scale war to decide whether they need this country or not.

"And sit and wait for someone to do the "dirty" work for you, and then you sit there all cute and say that you donated 200 hryvnia a month. This is a sore point," Palych notes.

He said that when the counteroffensive began in the Kharkiv region in 2022, the military hoped that the Russians could be finished off by the end of the year.

"Everyone had this attitude. When you go, and the enemy retreats, it motivates you so much, you want to catch up and catch up. We didn't catch up. At that time, our unit, as far as I remember, approached Kremennaya almost one and a half kilometers away," he recalls.

According to him, there were not enough weapons and equipment for the operation to be more successful.

"If at that time there was the equipment that we have now, perhaps there would not have been a war. Everything must be at the right time," the serviceman notes.
