US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that Washington is discussing with Kiev the victory plan presented by President Volodymyr Zelensky. In addition, the US authorities are also engaged in "other measures" in the context of American aid.
During the briefing, the American official did not clarify his previous statement to journalists about the "productive steps" that the White House sees in this plan. As is known, Zelensky familiarized US President Joe Biden with this document during his visit to the States in September.
"I'm not going to go into various details, except to say that we continue to cooperate with the Ukrainian government on this plan," the US State Department spokesman noted.
According to him, the heads of state "obviously" touched on the issue of Ukraine's victory plan in the war with the Russian Federation in a telephone conversation on October 16.
"I'm sure that was one of the topics of conversation. And we continue to cooperate with them on other activities that we believe are not part of the plan, and that we believe will help Ukraine win on the battlefield and ensure a just and lasting peace," the speaker added.
