A series of loud explosions were heard in the Russian city of Yefremov (Tula region) last night. The network reports that drones attacked two objects.
The Baza Telegram channel writes that local residents heard the first explosion at about 02:10, and five minutes later the second one thundered. The unmanned aerial vehicles allegedly fell in the area of the local thermal power plant. Local authorities are not commenting on what is happening.
According to Astra, the thermal power plant and the synthetic rubber plant were hit at night. Photos and videos published online show a large-scale fire, local residents say that the plant is burning.
As is known, the Efremovsky synthetic rubber plant produces high-molecular and low-molecular polyisobutylene, polyisobutylene thickening additives, low-molecular rubber and low-molecular polyisoprene.
