The Russians struck Kyiv with unmanned aerial vehicles, as a result of the attack in the Solomensky district, a gas pipe was depressurized, a store, parked cars and a commercial building caught fire.
The fire as a result of the attack by enemy UAVs became known at 04:29, it covered an area of 50 square meters, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported. According to rescuers, the fire was extinguished at 05:37.
"15 people were evacuated, four victims were handed over to doctors. A man with leg wounds was hospitalized. Rescuers continue evacuation and dismantling of structures," the department added.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, UAV debris fell in the Solomensky district, and a gas pipe located on the facade of a nine-story building was depressurized, causing a store to catch fire and people to be injured. In addition, debris fell on an open area in the Svyatoshinsky district of the city.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration specified the number of victims as a result of the enemy drone strike:
"Six victims. One person with a serious leg injury was hospitalized."
Then the capital's authorities reported that this was the 18th Russian air strike on Kyiv since the beginning of October. Enemy UAVs approached the capital from different directions, and our soldiers managed to neutralize them. The air raid alarm was declared twice in Kyiv overnight, and in total it lasted more than four hours.
The Kyiv City Military Administration added that three parked cars burned in the Solomensky district. "In the Svyatoshinsky district, fragments broke the windows of a three-story administrative building. There was no information about casualties," the report says.
