After the end of the war, Ukraine will live next door to Russia as an enemy, constantly expecting to get a "knife in the back."

This opinion was expressed in an interview with Online.UA by the chief sergeant of the 2nd assault company of the 1st assault battalion of the 3rd Separate assault brigade Kolovrat Kozhemyakin (call sign "Barsik"), who is a citizen of the Russian Federation. According to him, Russians have been raised to hate other countries for a very long time.

"People have been living in their own vacuum for generations, where they are instilled with hatred for everything outside of Russia. That everyone wants to kill them, everyone wants to capture them."

The serviceman believes that these attitudes will not disappear so easily; for any changes, the Russian system must be completely changed. At the same time, he assures that not all Russians hate Ukrainians. Kozhemyakin is convinced that "a very large number" of people in the Russian Federation have a normal attitude towards Ukrainians, but because of fear they cannot say so and speak out against the war.

When asked how Ukraine should live next to Russia after the end of the war, the fighter answered that it is like living next to a permanent enemy. "Fence everything in and constantly wait for a threat. Constantly. You can't relax, hope that suddenly we will become friends. Fence, trenches, pits and maximum attention to the side from which the enemy will come," added "Barsik".
