Deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade Maksim Zhorin believes that people who talk about disbanding the TCC understand absolutely nothing about how the system in the army is built, how everything works and how it can work.

"These are absolutely empty words that do not carry anything behind them. This is said by those who, apparently, want attention to themselves. The problem is not the existence of the TCC, not the abbreviation itself. The problem is that there is corruption there. The problem is that sometimes we can observe an unfair approach to the mobilization process. This must be influenced," he said in an interview with NV.

The military man noted that he also does not like how mobilization is happening in Ukraine today.

"Indeed, there are recruiting centers, they can help and facilitate the process. The Third Assault Brigade has quite a successful experience in recruiting. But I can say that the entire country will not be able to switch exclusively to recruiting centers in our reality. We are not able to abandon mobilization," Zhorin said.

In his opinion, the country should work with people's attitudes to the mobilization process.

"This could be done through mandatory training of the civilian population. Even before the start of a full-scale war, I was engaged in such training. So, even now, after completing each training course, there are always several people who voluntarily join the army. These are people who lacked something in order to make this decision. Either they were afraid of something and stopped being afraid after this course, or they simply understood, they no longer need to be explained why and for what purpose all this is happening," he explained.

Zhorin believes that in addition to the injustice on the part of the TCC, there is also an absolutely inadequate position of civilians in relation to the TCC. The defense attorney explained:

"We ourselves are to blame for what is happening now. I do not divide society into those who fight and those who do not fight, we are all Ukrainians and we all bear responsibility. But we can change this. We need to improve the reputation of the army and the TCC in particular, but at the same time, it is imperative to fight corruption and manifestations of injustice. There should always be punishment. Just like with the MSEK. In addition to photographs of searches, cabinets with money, all this absurdity, society must see the real punishment of these people. So that there is a feeling that yes, a person broke the law, but he was punished. Well, that means that some laws of justice do exist."

He is convinced that recruiting centers should be created creatively, in a modern way, and in this case they will produce results.

"Just opening a room and saying 'come' is not enough. Although sometimes the bureaucratic system sees the existence of recruiting centers in this way. This work requires initiative, a team, then we will get results, we will have a flow of volunteers, and in parallel with this a flow of mobilized people, but in a normal moral and psychological state," he added.
