Russian leader Vladimir Putin did not help his ally, dictator Bashar al-Assad, during the offensive of rebel forces in his country. Thus, the head of the Kremlin did not even release Syrian mercenaries to help the regular army of Syria.

As the Center for National Resistance writes, Assad asked Putin to release the Syrians participating in the war in Ukraine, as well as to provide military assistance. The head of the Russian Federation refused his ally and effectively lost Syria.

The CNS recalled that this is not the first time Putin has betrayed his "allies" in order to achieve at least some success on the front in Ukraine. Previously, he did not come to the aid of Armenia, since all combat-ready Russian units are on the battlefield for the sake of the Kremlin's aggressive ambitions.

"The Center for National Resistance notes that the result of Putin's rule will be the complete isolation of Russia and its transformation into a weak regional state. The decline of the empire began precisely because of the insane desire of Putin and his entourage to seize our state. However, they will not succeed in doing this either," the report concludes.
