Stop the war by April 30: expert answers whether it is realistic

The United States of America wants to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days from the inauguration of the elected US President Donald Trump, but "desire and reality are completely different things." This was stated on air by Pavlo Lakiychuk, head of security programs at the Center for Globalistics "Strategy XXI", on "Novosti.Live".
Responding to a question regarding the statement that the United States wants to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days from the inauguration of the elected US President Donald Trump, so whether it is realistic to do this before April 30 and stop the war, Lakiychuk noted that he is "very skeptical about the same expectations that Trump will come - restore order, and the war will stop."
"In order for the war to stop, another politician, I cannot even call him a politician, needs the desire of another creature (referring to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin), who has no intention of stopping the war against Ukraine, of stopping his aggression. He is not going to change his position," the expert said.
He added that the "Kremlin dwarf" had stated this, including at the end of December. "The point was that Russia is not going to stop the war, is not going to make any concessions, any compromises with Ukraine, it only demands our capitulation. And what can Trump do? Trump lives in a completely different part of the world and sees the world with a completely different view," Lakiychuk noted.
Sometimes, the expert added, Trump's statements, in particular regarding Canada, Greenland or Panama, "you listen and understand that this person will hardly try to solve our problems in some way."
"I would really like to, of course. But you have to understand: desire and reality are completely different things," said Lakiychuk.
