At night and in the morning, some drones attacked industrial enterprises in Tatarstan and the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation.
Local authorities reported this, however, they did not specify which enterprises they were. "This morning, an attempt was made by enemy drones to attack industrial enterprises of the republic. A set of measures was taken for protection. As a result, all UAVs were neutralized. There were no casualties or damage," the press service of the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reported.
At the same time, locals reported several waves of explosions in the Aviastroitelny district of Kazan, where large enterprises of the aviation industry operate. Due to the drone attack, the work of two airports - Kazan and Nizhnekamsk - was stopped.
Initially, some local publics reported that drones attacked the Kazan Aviation Plant named after Gorbunov, where the Tu-160 strategic missile-carrying bombers and Tu-22M3M/Tu-22M3 long-range missile-carrying bombers are manufactured and repaired.
And the governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, announced an attack on one of the enterprises, where a fire broke out as a result. "On the outskirts of Kaluga, UAV debris fell on the territory of the enterprise. The minor fire was quickly extinguished," he wrote.
