The soldiers of the 2nd company of the 2nd assault battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade (3rd separate assault brigade) captured six Russians who thought that their own were storming them.

The corresponding video was published by the brigade's press service. It is noted that the assault group was led by the company commander with the call sign "Datsik." He decided to go behind enemy lines to neutralize the observation post, which was located 200 meters from the front line.

"Datsik" said that the task of the enemy observation post was to track the movement of equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian troops.

A group of soldiers from the 3rd separate assault brigade entered the enemy's rear without drone cover. The stormtroopers approached the enemy observation post from the "blind" side.

The enemy observation post was well camouflaged and was discovered only thanks to voices coming from one of the dugouts. After detecting enemy personnel, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade soldiers began throwing hand grenades at it.

During the assault, the soldiers came up with the idea of playing out a scene of a false "attack" on the Russians from their own side, that is, also Russians.

The Ukrainian stormtroopers began shouting in Russian a demand to surrender, to which they began to respond from the dugout that there were Russians at the position.

When the Russians believed that they were being mistakenly stormed by their own troops, they left the dugout and, unaware of the "setup", surrendered without a fight.

The prisoners were taken to the Ukrainian positions, although they were sure that they were going to the "allied" position for inspection. The occupiers handed over their firing positions, the company command post and the map to the Ukrainian military.

The prisoners also said that the body of a dead Russian serviceman had been lying at their position for 10 days and they "didn't know what to do with it."

After that, the 3rd separate assault brigade returned and successfully stormed the second dugout. In total, during the operation, in addition to the prisoners, 4 occupiers were killed and 2 were wounded.
