In December 2024, wholesale prices of industrial producers increased by 27.6% compared to the same period last year. The cost of products sold on the domestic Ukrainian market increased by 28.9%, while export prices increased by 15.9%. This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that in the production of food products, beverages and tobacco products, the overall price increase was 21%. At the same time, within Ukraine, they increased by 18.6%, and outside Ukraine - by 32%.
Dairy products have become significantly more expensive - prices for their production increased by 24%. In particular, on the domestic market of Ukraine - by 23.1%. Meat production has also become more expensive, showing an increase of 17.6%, of which within the country - by 18.3%.
In addition, prices in the production of bread, bakery and flour products increased by 13.1%, including on the domestic market of Ukraine - by 13.3%. Beverage producers also increased prices by 5.9%, of which within Ukraine - by 5.7%. At the same time, prices for sugar production over the year decreased by 1.5%, although a slight increase was recorded on the domestic market - by 0.1%.
