The US has earned billions in income from the war in Ukraine and invaluable combat experience, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, American companies have contracts for weapons at the highest prices in the last 50 years due to the huge demand caused by the full-scale war started by Russia in Ukraine.
"All European countries have such a request. People are afraid. This is huge money. American companies have earned millions even on licenses, because they have offices in Europe. Therefore, this is billions in income. And I believe that this war has definitely brought this, in addition to all the bad," Zelensky said in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan on YouTube.
In addition, the head of state emphasized that the technologies that were developed in Ukraine have become available to Western countries. The US, in particular, has gained experience in modern large-scale land warfare — not only through intelligence, but also from the military itself, using American weapons.
"Which American weapons work, what doesn't, what is effective. We ourselves have developed drones against Russian equipment, the power grid, and military targets that the US did not have," the Ukrainian president noted.
