US President Donald Trump is ready to allow Europe to buy American weapons for Ukraine. As reported by Bloomberg, Trump answered "yes" to a question from journalists regarding such permission for Europe.
The agency notes that this opens the door for Ukraine to have access to weapons even if Trump stops aid to the United States.
Earlier, the Trump administration told Western allies that it wants them to buy American weapons and military equipment to preserve the NATO alliance. In addition, these weapons may be intended for Ukraine. Thus, the United States will be able to transfer its weapons to Ukraine without significant losses of its capital.
