The situation in the Pokrovsky direction has stabilized. The number of enemy assaults has decreased, but the Russians do not stop trying to advance, said the head of the press service of the NGU "Chervona Kalina" brigade Nikolai Koval on the air of the "Kiev24" channel.
"The situation has stabilized in the Pokrovsky direction. If we take last year and the active phase of the offensive in the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy used assault groups of 20 to 50 people. We destroy group after group, and they send new ones, that is, they used manpower as much as possible. They suffered heavy losses. It was very difficult to contain such an invasion of manpower," Koval noted.
According to him, the occupiers can transfer several units to the direction. However, this is not like last year, when the enemy stormed almost around the clock. Today, the Russians are moving in small groups of 2-3 people, gathering into a larger group and trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
