If one of his parents already has a passport of this country, then the child will automatically acquire it at birth. This also works when a child is adopted by Romanians.
Let's move on to the option that takes the most time. In this case, Romanian citizenship is issued if you have lived in this country for a long time. To be more specific, naturalization requires living in this country for more than five years and a legal income. You should also prepare yourself for the fact that your Romanian will have to be at a decent level.
