Russian occupiers are simultaneously building three new bridges, one of which is a railway bridge. This was reported by the head of the "Center for the Study of the Occupation" Petr Andryushchenko.
According to him, the railway bridge passes over the Berestovaya and Kalmius rivers near the village of Razdolnoye, also across the Shiroka ravine along the Novoazovsk-Mariupol highway and in the area of the new railway line, which the occupiers built as a reserve in the spring of 2024.
"The goal of the invaders is a radical improvement of the Rostov-Novoazovsk-Volnovakha (via the village of Granitnoye) - Donetsk logistics for roads and the construction of a new Mariupol-Rostov railway line," he wrote.
He noted that this is essentially a branching of logistics from Rostov within the framework of the land corridor to annexed Crimea.
