On the evening of March 27, Russian occupation forces launched a strike on Poltava. The enemy deliberately attacked civilian infrastructure, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated.
"The Russian military continues to terrorize the civilian, peaceful population of Ukraine. The Russian invaders committed another war crime - using Shahed-type UAVs, they massively attacked Poltava. They deliberately hit civilian infrastructure, residential buildings and administrative buildings of oil and gas industry enterprises," the statement said.
The General Staff added that Moscow is cynically lying about its desire for peace, continuing to deliberately attack civilian targets and endangering the civilian population of Ukraine.
"The occupiers commit war crimes on the territory of Ukraine every day. They have no statute of limitations. They are recorded, documented and transferred to the relevant international institutions. Punishment is inevitable," the military concluded.
