In a new draft agreement on the extraction of minerals, the US demands that Ukraine compensate for all assistance provided after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.

According to the analysis of EuroPravda, which has the text of the agreement, Ukraine undertakes to compensate the US for the cost of all assistance - budgetary, military and humanitarian. At the same time, according to the Kiel Institute, the amount of such assistance is estimated at $123 billion.

According to the text of the agreement, Ukraine must convert the Fund's income into dollars and transfer them to the American side's accounts upon request without commissions.

At the same time, the sources of income for the Fund will be 50% of the cost of all new licenses and rent payments for the development of Ukrainian subsoil and 50% of the income from infrastructure facilities (the details of this clause are not disclosed in the agreement).

At the same time, the agreement sets strict obligations for Ukraine to repay the "debt" to the US on time - otherwise, it is envisaged to increase it by 4% annually.

This means that the longer Kyiv delays payments, the more funds will have to be compensated, the "EP" notes.
