The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office showed the consequences of a massive enemy attack on the city on the night of Wednesday, April 2. The enemy attacked Kharkiv with Geranium 2 attack drones.
As reported by Dmitry Chubenko, spokesman for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, from 13 to 15 hits were recorded in the Kholodnogorsk district of the city.
Most of the hits occurred in the industrial zone. As a result of the strikes, fires engulfed about two thousand square meters of warehouse and production facilities. About 20 private houses were damaged.
Chubenko also confirmed the information about 8 injured people, including a 9-month-old baby.
According to the prosecutor's office, the enemy attacked Kharkov with Geran 2 attack UAVs at night. Chubenko showed fragments of one of the drones, seized at the site of one of the strikes.
According to the State Emergency Service, hits were recorded in Kharkov on two civilian enterprises in the Kholodnogorsk district. Three fires with areas of 1000, 800 and 70 square meters broke out in industrial buildings. In addition, nearby private residential buildings were damaged.
The elimination of the consequences of the enemy attack is currently ongoing, with 89 rescuers and 29 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service involved. Canine and pyrotechnic crews from the State Emergency Service have also been involved. 19 units of equipment and 49 workers from the city's public utilities.
