The Ukrainian government has increased the booking option for critical public utilities workers to 75%. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine on Facebook.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that allows enterprises servicing critical infrastructure facilities of the life support system sector to book up to 75% of their workers," the report says.
It is noted that the 75% booking rate will help reduce the personnel shortage in the public utilities sector. These critical changes were initiated to ensure the smooth operation of such enterprises under martial law.
The department noted that this concerns specialists who provide heat supply, water supply and drainage, as well as solid waste removal. Thanks to this decision, public utilities will be able to operate stably and quickly respond to emergency situations.
The requirements for the criteria regarding the size of the wages of employees for whom booking is provided have also been relaxed for such enterprises.
