20 enemy "Shahed" drones attacked Kharkov in several waves, resulting in casualties and destruction in the city.
As reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on its Telegram channel, the enemy launched a massive strike on Kharkov in the early morning.
The State Emergency Service noted that hits and debris falls were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi and Industrial districts of the city. As a result of the enemy attack, six fires occurred.
"According to preliminary data, four people were injured as a result of the enemy attack," the report says.
Thus, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, the roof and a room of a private residential building were burning on an area of 400 square meters. In Kyivskyi, a store on the territory of a market was burning on an area of 500 square meters. "About 90 commercial facilities were damaged and 20 burned down. At another address, a restaurant building was burning on an area of 700 square meters," the Service noted.
In addition, in the Kholodnogorsk district, the facade of an apartment building was damaged, a kiosk, a building and three cars were burning on a total area of 120 square meters, and in the Industrial district, a car was burning on an area of 20 square meters, and an industrial building was damaged.
As the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov noted, at dawn, 20 enemy UAVs of the "Shahed" type attacked Kharkiv in several waves. "The massive attack lasted more than two hours, and fires broke out at the sites of the impacts," he wrote.
In addition, the head of the OVA said in Telegram that a 71-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, as well as a 59-year-old and 44-year-old man, experienced an acute reaction to stress due to the attack by Russian occupiers.
Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov, regarding the attack on the Kievsky district of the city, clarified in Telegram that the fire occurred at one of the largest markets in the city.
"According to updated information, Kharkiv received twenty strikes from "Shaheds" in four districts of the city at eight locations tonight," the mayor wrote.
