The first British Stormer HVM air defense systems have already arrived at the front in Ukraine. So far, there are not so many of them in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but nevertheless they will help to carry out counteroffensives.
As stated in the plot of the FreeDom project, the main feature of these anti-aircraft guns is that they see attack aircraft of enemy troops at a distance of up to 18 kilometers and are used as air defense. Moreover, there is semi-automatic laser surveillance, but these systems do not have their own radars. This means that they are practically invisible to enemy aircraft.
Ukrainian defenders on the front line have already received 6 British Stormer HVM anti-aircraft missile systems. This is a fairly modern armored vehicle that can be used for various purposes.
"British invisible Stormer HVM air defense systems see enemy attack aircraft at a distance of up to 18 kilometers. Why invisible? All because of their ability to direct missiles at a target in semi-automatic mode. This makes British air defense systems literally invisible to airborne radar exposure sensors standing on enemy helicopters and aircraft," Pivden said in a statement.
According to military expert Alexander Musienko, the Stormer HVM itself is truly unique.
Hundreds of Starstreak missiles were delivered to Ukraine along with installations for these air defense systems. There is practically no hiding from these missiles, they make it possible to shoot down not only planes, but also drones, as well as helicopters.
