The German federal government has approved the sale of 100 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine.

Back in April, Ukraine turned to Germany with a request to buy this weapon. The total value of the contract for 100 self-propelled guns for Ukraine is 1.7 billion euros, which is several times more than the total value of all weapons provided by Germany (600 million euros).
The production of the units will take several years, but the manufacturing process will begin immediately. Germany coordinated all the nuances with Ukraine.
