Over the past day, the Marines of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured 11 Russian invaders.
The opponents were taken prisoner during successful counter-offensive operations in the Kherson direction, according to the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Navy.
"... Over the past day, the marines of the Ukrainian Navy captured 11 Russian invaders in battle," the report says.
According to the Navy, an enemy officer, one ensign and nine so-called "mobilized" from the self-proclaimed "DPR" were captured.
"... The invaders who were taken prisoner were lucky, because Ukraine adheres to the norms of international law. All prisoners were transferred to the appropriate competent authorities ...", the message says.
