As noted by the chairman of the Sumy OVA Dmitry Zhivitsky, at 5:00 the Russians began shelling the Shalygin community.
"12 mortar arrivals. And 10 more arrivals from artillery at six in the morning. Mortar fire began on the Krasnopol community at half past six, 8 arrivals. Novoslobodskaya community: at almost six in the morning, Russians opened fire on two villages of the community, 6 arrivals at private houses of civilians , streets, gardens," he said.
According to the chairman of the UVA, fires broke out as a result of the enemy attack.
"Tentatively, there were no human casualties," Zhivitsky added.
