The current operational situation in the south of Ukraine is stably tense, but the Russians are losing their military and equipment.
This is stated in the summary of OK "Pivden" as of 23:00 on August 8.
"The enemy continues to conduct combat operations along the occupied line of defense. Enemy army aviation is testing our positions with single and group helicopter strikes. There are no successes, our losses are not allowed," the message says.
The enemy suffered losses both in equipment and manpower.
“Based on the results of the work of rocket and artillery units, it is already known that during this combat day the enemy will miss 23 rashists, the next Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, the T-72 tank, the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, including including armored ones," the Pivden OK notes.
In addition, Ukrainian ground attack aviation struck at the accumulation of manpower, weapons and equipment of the Russian occupation forces near Snigirevka.
"The results are being reconnoitered," the military emphasized.
