The West is with us - this catchphrase is the best illustration of another US decision regarding Ukraine - they are preparing a new package of military assistance worth a billion dollars.

As stated in the plot of the FreeDom project, we are primarily talking about long-range ammunition for Western artillery systems, such as HIMARS, M270 or NASAMS. In a few months, Ukraine has proved that it has not only mastered foreign artillery mounts, but uses them even more effectively than the NATO military itself.

"This is already forcing the Russians to completely change their tactics and strategy. It forces them to change the location of ammunition depots. That is, before 30 kilometers was normal from the front, now they are forced to pull back 80-90 kilometers to avoid defeat," says the military expert Ivan Stupak.

According to Reuters, the wording "ammunition for guns" allows the delivery of not only shells, but also missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers, because this is also ammunition for this gun.

Also, as part of the US assistance, they plan to supply up to fifty medical armored vehicles based on the M113 armored personnel carrier - they are fast, maneuverable and simple. And - most importantly - they can not only ride, but also swim. Ukraine has already received such combat units, but now the armored personnel carrier has been equipped as a military ambulance. They will help save the lives of our soldiers at the front.

"When exactly Ukraine will receive the aid package, what exactly and in what quantities it will include, the United States does not disclose. But analysts already say that if we are talking about the amount of a billion dollars, then the supply of weapons and equipment will be more than impressive, and there already and Lend-Lease will be within easy reach. This program for the supply of American weapons to Ukraine will start working in the autumn," the journalists summed up.
