Operational Command "South" reported on the liquidation of an enemy ammunition depot, a command and observation post and 35 invaders within 24 hours on August 9.
This is stated in the message OK "South" in Facebook.
It is noted that in the south the enemy continues to conduct military operations along the occupied line of defense, but there are no significant changes in the composition and position.
"The result of our 7 air strikes is a hit in 5 cells of enemy manpower, weapons and equipment in the Bashtansky, Berislavsky and Kherson regions and 2 strong points over 40 km from Kherson ... According to the results of work during the combat day, including and rocket and artillery units, enemy losses were confirmed in the amount of 35 rashists, 6 armored and automotive vehicles, including 1 T-72 tank and 1 command and control vehicle.
In addition, another ammunition depot in Novoalekseevka and the command and observation post of the battalion tactical group of the 217th parachute regiment of the enemy near the village of Maxim Gorky were destroyed.
According to the "South" command, in the Berislav region, the enemy tried to conduct aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.
"Orlan-10 on duty was aptly grounded by an anti-aircraft missile unit," the command notes.
It is also reported that the occupying troops tried to carry out reconnaissance in force in the direction of the recently liberated Lozovoye using the air assault platoon. They did not succeed, they retreated.
The invaders fired 5 air-to-air cruise missiles at the aircraft of the Air Force, which attacked the enemy. Losses of our aircraft are not allowed.
