In Popasnaya, the "Wagnerites" were liquidated, in Severodonetsk, damaged houses were being demolished in order to shoot a picture of a flourishing city later.
This was announced by the head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai.
He confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully worked on the enemy headquarters, which was pointed out by one of the representatives of the Russian media.
"This time yesterday in Popasna, where the Wagner PMC headquarters was smashed with an accurate blow. The number of dead is being specified," Gaidai said.
At the same time, he said that at the same time, on the front line, the Russians are more actively using assault and army aviation - three settlements were fired from the air.
"Seven rockets were also fired. During the night, the enemy's cannon artillery worked seven times. Four times the Russians fired on cities and villages from multiple launch rocket systems, six from mortars. Four tank offensives were carried out," Gaidai said.
In addition, the invaders are increasingly trying to conduct reconnaissance of the front line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, eight enemy attacks were successfully repulsed. The Ukrainian military neutralized the reconnaissance group of Russians.
Gaidai also spoke about life in the captured cities of the Luhansk region. According to him, people are gradually becoming disillusioned with the occupation authorities.
“Residents of Severodonetsk gave away their personal data more than a month ago in exchange for a promise to restore their living quarters. However, so far no one has come even for an examination. the whims of the weather make themselves felt - a short summer rain turned the life of the townspeople into a catastrophe. It is hard to imagine what will happen in the fall, in two weeks," he said.
The occupation authorities of Severodonetsk, instead of helping people, are following orders regarding the inspection of houses that are unsuitable for habitation.
"More than a hundred high-rise buildings have already been identified to be demolished. And they are actively engaged in this, instead of preparing the city for winter. For what? To later show politicians from the Russian Federation a picture of a flourishing city. Therefore, nothing will be restored, because everything damaged will simply be demolished," Gaidai noted.
