The United States is preparing a contract for the supply of kamikaze drones Switchblade to Ukraine

The US Army is ready to conclude a contract for the supply of powerful Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones for Ukraine.
Prior to this, Ukraine received several smaller-range Switchblade 300s and the Phoenix Ghost. In connection with the upcoming counter-offensive in southern Ukraine, it is the Switchblade 600 that can play a significant role in striking Russian troops and equipment.
“This Switchblade ability could be useful as the Ukrainians prepare an offensive against Kherson and Crimea. Drones can be launched outside the range of Russian systems and damage Russian infrastructure,” said Samuel Bendett, an expert at the US Navy Center.
Switchblade 600 is capable of attacking targets at a distance of 40 kilometers and stay in the air for about 40 minutes. It is not yet known when they will arrive in Ukraine.
