Over the past day in the south, the Ukrainian military eliminated 17 invaders, enemy equipment and an ammunition depot.
Vladislav Nazarov, spokesman for the Yug Operational Command, announced this on Facebook.
"The situation in our operational zone is stably tense, but controlled. The enemy continues to conduct combat operations along the line of defense he occupies, has no changes either in the composition of forces or in their positions. Pinned down on land, the enemy is focused on remote shelling and air strikes," - he noted.
In particular, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions along the collision line 8 times with helicopters and attack aircraft without loss.
"On the other hand, our air strikes on the stronghold, areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and equipment, ammunition depots and on the means of air defense of the occupiers, had a convincing result. In combination with the performance of fire missions by rocket and artillery units, the losses of the enemy in the amount of 17 rashists, 1 anti-aircraft missile system "Buk", 1 towed mortar complex "Sani" 120 mm caliber, 5 units of automotive and armored vehicles," the spokesman of the command said.
He noted that a significant defeat was inflicted on the Antonovsky bridge, significant damage was also confirmed to the bridge across the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, and an enemy ammunition depot in Kakhovka was destroyed.
