Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba held talks with his colleague from Sweden Ann Linde and Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson. He asked Sweden to provide Ukraine with Archer self-propelled artillery mounts.

On Monday, August 20, Kuleba spoke about the results of the meeting at a press conference after the talks.

Thus, Sweden will provide Ukraine with a new aid package in the amount of 1 billion crowns (over $90 million). Half of the package will be military assistance.

"I'll be honest: after thanking Sweden for everything it has already done, I immediately raised the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine. Because during the war, weapons, weapons and more weapons are needed most of all," Kuleba said.

In particular, he asked Sweden to provide its well-known Archer self-propelled guns and RBS 70 anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as more shells for our artillery systems.

"No matter how strange it may sound, the best way to save human lives, including civilians, and save Ukrainian cities and villages from destruction is to provide Ukraine with more weapons. So that we can repel Russian aggression and the Russian army," the Foreign Minister stressed.
