Ukrainian defenders on the front line received 1,000 ultra-light armored plates. They were made in Germany and weigh only 2.65 kg. Plates withstood ballistic tests using all types of weapons corresponding to the 4th class of protection according to DSTU standards.

The project of providing women on the front line with ammunition, uniforms, medical supplies and hygiene products was launched in July by the Charitable Foundation named after. Aleksey Stavnitser and the public association "Countrymen. Ukrainian front". It was called "Try walking in her shoes". According to the initiators, women at the front often receive equipment and uniforms in men's sizes or tailor-made according to men's patterns, which creates unnecessary discomfort during combat missions. Organizations are already giving women on the front line lightweight plates and helmets, specially tailored female uniforms and protection, tactical first aid kits, goggles and gloves, and the like.
The Stavnitser Charitable Foundation purchased 1,000 armored plates thanks to the support of a philanthropist, a partner of the foundation, Freedom Finance. In the spring, the international investment holding gave the Fund a donation in the amount of 2 million euros. Part of these funds was spent on lightweight plates.
Women from the Armed Forces of Ukraine fill out the appropriate form on the website www.stavnitser.com and receive the available assistance free of charge. According to defenders, lightweight plates greatly facilitate their work, solve the problem of back pain and significantly add mobility, which is a vital necessity at the front.
In addition to stoves, the financial support of Freedom Finance allowed the Fund to promptly send 10 pickup trucks, 18 drones, 10 night vision devices, 3,000 nutritional field rations specially designed for the military to the front.
A significant portion of Freedom Finance's donations went to humanitarian causes. In particular, the holding financed the purchase of a modern endoscopic stand for a regional hospital in Ukraine, 100 ultralight and comfortable medical stretchers, 120 tactical first aid kits, 80 VAC devices critically needed in cases of severe external injuries. In addition, funding from Freedom Finance made it possible to provide 10,000 families in territories that were under occupation or are close to the occupied, with food packages.
