During the day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 86 Russian invaders and liquidated enemy warehouses in southern Ukraine.

During a missile attack on the liberated territories of the Kherson region, in the Andreevka area, the air defense forces destroyed two X-59 missiles.
Rocket and artillery units completed 370 fire missions to destroy enemy air defense units, areas of concentration of forces and assets, electronic warfare stations and pontoon crossings near Daryevka and along the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
It is noted that fire control of crossings across the Dnieper River is systematic and effective.
The confirmed losses of the invaders on September 5 are: 86 soldiers, 4 tanks, 12 armored vehicles, 4 Msta-B and Msta-S 152 caliber howitzers, 3 Giacint-B and 152 caliber guns. Hyacinth-S", communication station and anti-tank missile system.
