A barge with occupiers and military equipment was destroyed in the Kherson region.
This was announced by the spokesman of the operational command "South" Vladyslav Nazarov, commenting on the situation as of 1:00 p.m.
Nazarov noted that the units of the Armed Forces continue positional battles and methodically inflict losses on the enemy in logistics and management activities, thereby significantly demoralizing the personnel of the occupying forces.
"Our missile and artillery units practiced fire damage to the areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, military equipment of the enemy and control points. When the enemy tried to establish an alternative crossing in the area of Holaya Prystan, a barge with occupants and military equipment on board was destroyed. The fire control of the Kakhovsky bridge does not allow the enemy to to carry out repair work," said Nazarov.
Confirmed enemy losses are 30 soldiers and 2 infantry fighting vehicles.
The speaker recalled that an enemy K-52 attack helicopter was shot down by Air Defense Forces during an attempt to attack the positions of the Armed Forces.
"The enemy's stockpiles of ammunition have been reduced by 1 warehouse in the Berislav district," he said.
At the same time, the enemy is trying to hold the occupied lines by launching rocket-artillery and air strikes, both on the positions of the Defense Forces and on peaceful settlements.
Nazarov reminded that during the night the Berislav district of the Kherson region was shelled by heavy artillery, 5 rockets of the "Smerch" salvo rocket system were fired over an open area in the Bashtan district of the Mykolaiv region.
He added that the enemy's naval group in the Black Sea is in constant readiness to use 16 Kalibr-type cruise missiles.
