On the night of September 8-9, the Russian Armed Forces fired heavy weapons at Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, as a result of which civilians were killed. This information was confirmed in his Telegram channel by the head of the regional military-civilian administration, Pavel Kirilenko.
According to him, last night the RF Armed Forces fired at the Pokrovsky, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region from heavy weapons.
Front-line Bakhmut, according to Kirilenko, suffered the most damage. The victims of the shelling of the regional center, according to the latest data, were 8 civilians. Another 17 citizens received various wounds and injuries.
"20 private and 6 multi-storey buildings, 4 shops, a palace of culture and an administrative building were damaged. In addition, the market came under fire - 107 containers were damaged," Kirilenko continued in his Telegram channel.
The head of the Donetsk OVA stressed that the front-line Bakhmut has been left without electricity and water supply for four days, which cannot be restored due to active hostilities.
