During the day in the south, the Ukrainian military eliminated another 40 Russian invaders, a lot of enemy equipment and an ammunition depot.
This was announced by the speaker of the operational command "South" Vladislav Nazarov in the social network Facebook.
"The situation in the operational zone remains difficult, but controlled. The enemy conducts aerial reconnaissance, continues to fire at the positions of our units, tries to take measures to restore the lost position, maneuvers troops, simulating the arrival of reserves. Having no success on land, during the combat day the enemy committed 19 air strikes along the contact line," he said.
According to Nazarov, during the day, Ukrainian aviation in the south launched 3 strikes, and rocket and artillery units completed 270 fire missions, which were associated with the destruction of the area where enemy weapons and equipment were concentrated, an electronic warfare station, and two ammunition depots.
"The generalized losses of the enemy during the combat day are 40 rashists, 4 tanks and 4 more armored vehicles, 3 Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, an ammunition depot in Kakhovka," the command spokesman said.
