The defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of several settlements, the occupiers suffered significant losses in the Kherson direction.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 a.m.
"The enemy is concentrating its efforts on establishing control over the territory of Donetsk region, maintaining the temporarily captured territories and disrupting the offensive of our troops in certain directions. The enemy continues to attack our positions with fire, conducts aerial reconnaissance and tries to take measures to restore the lost position," the General Staff said.
It is noted that there remains a further threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine.
So, during the past day, the enemy launched 18 missile and 39 air strikes on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.
"More than 30 settlements were affected, in particular, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Dnipro, Pavlograd, Velikomykhailivka. The Russians carried out another terrorist act - they launched a missile attack on the Kharkiv thermal power plant, an object of the city's critical infrastructure.
