Over the course of a day in the south, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Su-24M bomber and a Mi-8 helicopter of the occupying aviation.
This is stated in the message of the operational command "South".
"The situation in the operational zone is tense and dynamic in development, controlled by the Defense Forces. The enemy continues combat operations on previously equipped defense lines, yielding and giving preference to remote actions," the message says.
During the battle day, the enemy continued rocket and artillery shelling of the line of contact and adjacent settlements with civilians. Enemy aircraft inflicted 18 air strikes on our positions.
"Our aircraft inflicted 9 strikes on enemy positions, but the forces of anti-aircraft missile units in the Davydov Brod area destroyed a Su-24M bomber and a Mi-8 helicopter of the occupying aviation. Our rocket and artillery units completed more than 430 fire missions during the combat day," they note in ok.
Three areas of concentration of enemy forces and assets in Melovoye and Dudchany, 3 command posts in Urozhainoye and Kherson were hit.
"Once again, attempts to repair work on the Kakhovka bridge were corrected by fire, it is impassable. The pontoon crossing in Daryevka was struck, its further use is excluded," the message says.
