Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attacks of the Russian invaders and inflicted losses on them in the areas of five settlements.
This is stated in a message on the page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
"Over the past 24 hours, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks, inflicting losses on him, in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Zaitsevoe, Avdeevka, Nikolayevka Vtoraya and Novomikhailovka," the report says.
It is noted that the occupiers continue to focus their efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Donetsk region, organize defense and maintain temporarily occupied territories, as well as disrupt active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas.
They fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops along the line of contact, carry out measures to regroup troops in certain areas, bring in reserves and conduct aerial reconnaissance.
The threat of air and missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine.
"The enemy continues to strike at the homes of civilians and civilian infrastructure, violating the laws and customs of warfare and the norms of International Humanitarian Law. Over the past day, the enemy launched 4 missile, 24 air strikes and carried out 72 attacks from rocket artillery systems," the statement says. note.
Thus, the infrastructure of more than 58 settlements suffered from aviation, missile strikes and the use of multiple launch rocket systems. In particular, these are Kharkiv, Zolochiv, Druzhkovka, Seversk, Zakytnoye, New York, Veselyanka, Maryinka, Krasnogorovka, Poltavka, Maly Shcherbaki, Mirnoye, Bolshoi Artakovo, Krivoy Rog, Nikopol, Olhevskoe, Zaporozhye, Orekhov, Mirolyubovka, Ochakov and Sukhoi rates.
At the same time, the situation in the Volynsky, Polessky and Seversky directions remains unchanged.
In other directions, the enemy fired from the armament of tanks, mortars and artillery: in the Kharkov direction, including from the territory of Russia, in the areas of the settlements of Kudievka, Goptovka, Strelechye, Olkhovatka, Aniskine, Sinyok, Kamenka, Pristin and Dvurichnaya; in the Slavic direction - in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlements of Gorokhovatka and Bakhtin.
In the Kramatorsk direction, these are Krivaya Luka, Piskunivka, Raygorodok, Stary Caravan, Nikolaevka, Dronovka, Razdelnoe, Seversk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Svyatogorsk, Sosnovoye, Aleksandrovka and Yaremovka; in the Bakhmut direction - these are Belogorovka, Razdolovka, Vyemka, Odradievka, Soledar, Nikolaevka Second, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Yakovlevka, Veselaia Dolina, Veseliy and Mayorsk.
"The enemy did not carry out active operations in the Avdiivka, Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions. Avdiivka, Veseloe, Opytnoe, Netaylov, Zelenoe Pole, Poltavka and Novopol suffered from enemy artillery fire," the General Staff stated.
In the Yuzhnobugsky direction, the invaders carried out shelling along the line of contact: more than 26 settlements were exposed to fire.
