In the Luhansk region, the Ukrainian military destroyed three enemy strongholds, a rear command post and two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.
This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai.
"During September 16, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the Russians, inflicting losses on them, in the areas of Bakhmut, Zaitsevo, Avdeevka, Nikolaevka II and Novomikhailovka. Over the past day, the aircraft of the Defense Forces struck at the occupiers," he said.
According to the head of the OVA, the defeat of 9 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy, 3 strongholds, a rear command post and 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed.
At the same time, Gaidai added that the invaders continued to shell dozens of settlements in the region with mortars and artillery.
