In the morning, the occupiers fired at the Slavyanskaya TPP, damaging the equipment on the territory of the station.
Pavel Kirilenko, chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on his Telegram channel.
"Slavyanskaya TPP was fired upon by the Russian occupiers this morning. The equipment on the territory of the station was damaged. The fire that arose from the shelling is now being extinguished by rescuers," he said.
According to Kirilenko, due to the shelling in the city of Nikolaevka, interruptions in water supply began.
"The occupiers are deliberately targeting the infrastructure facilities of the region, trying to inflict as much damage as possible, primarily on the civilian population," the head of the UVA stressed.
