Spain sent Ukraine five transport aircraft with ammunition for large-caliber artillery systems.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the last of five aircraft from the Aerospace Forces of the Spanish Armed Forces took off from the air base in Madrid on September 9.
Four previous planes with weapons took off from the base in Rota. In total, Spain transferred 75 pallets of large-caliber ammunition to Ukraine.
In addition, in response to a request from Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, Spain donated medical supplies and 20 trucks with winter equipment to Ukraine.
