In the Dnieper River, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sank a barge of Russian invaders with equipment and personnel.

According to the Operational Command "South" on the social network Facebook, the situation remains stably tense, but controlled.

In particular, the enemy continues to focus on organizing defense and trying to hold the occupied territories, and is also trying to disrupt the active operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, shelling the positions of our troops along the line of contact. In certain axes, the enemy is carrying out measures to regroup his subunits, bring in reserves, and activate aerial reconnaissance.

"In order to improve the tactical situation, the enemy tried to carry out assault operations with forces up to a motorized rifle platoon in the direction of Davydov Brod - Belogorka. He was detected and stopped by artillery fire in time. He retreated with losses," the report says.

"Attempts to set up an alternative crossing across the Dnieper, in the area of ​​Novaya Kakhovka and Kazatsky, were not successful. The crossing could not withstand fire control and stopped. A barge loaded with weapons, equipment and personnel, having fallen under fire, replenished the occupiers' submarine fleet," - noted in the summary.

Also, during the fighting day, the enemy continued shelling Ukrainian positions along the front line, on the adjacent territorial bulks, inflicted 3 air and 3 missile strikes.

In addition, in the Krivoy Rog region of the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy continued to blackmail with rocket attacks on critical infrastructure. "There were no casualties," the report says.

"In the Bashtansky district of the Nikolaev region, in the evening, they fired rockets from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system and subsequently also from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. Open areas of the area, agricultural land were hit. No human losses," the report says.
