Over 150 Russian occupiers and 40 pieces of enemy equipment were destroyed in the region of southern Ukraine in a day.
This was reported by the Operational Command "South" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informing about the situation in the area of responsibility in the South Bug direction based on the results of the day on September 20.
It is noted that the rocket and artillery units worked out more than 210 fire missions at the enemy command post in the Berislav region, concentrations of forces and equipment in the Gavrilovka and Chernobaevka regions, along the Darevsky bridge and the pontoon crossing near Novaya Kakhovka.
In particular, in Novaya Kakhovka, fire control stopped repair work on the bridge and hit a column of military equipment that was preparing to cross the Dnieper.
"The number of Rashists has been reduced by 151 units, and military equipment - more than 40 units. Among them: 7 tanks and 19 units of armored vehicles, 4 howitzers, including self-propelled "Msta-S" and conventional "Msta-B", 2 more self-propelled Akatsiya howitzers, 4 self-propelled gun mounts," the statement said.
In addition, the air force worked out 7 strikes against the enemy, as a result, an enemy Su-25 attack aircraft was destroyed in the sky over Charivne, in the Kherson region, and an attempt by aerial reconnaissance of the invaders was suppressed in the Murakhivka region, in the Nikolaev region - 2 "Orlan-10" were shot down .
It is also reported that pre-reconnaissance data confirmed the defeat of the ammunition depot in Blagodatnoye, the command post of the 7th Airborne Assault Division in Chernobaevka.
